ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS FOR INDIVIDUAL ADULT AND CHILD THERAPY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTING.
I am a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor who has worked in a variety of settings for adolescents and adults. I have also worked in outpatient mental health settings with children, adolescents, and adults. In addition to therapy services, I also offer psychological testing, including formal Autism and ADHD assessments. I earned my MA in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I also earned my Doctoral Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Counseling Psychology. I am currently an Adjunct Professor at Saint Mary's as well. I enjoy working with a variety of age groups including children (age 6+), adolescents, and adults. I enjoy helping clients learn new skills that can help them achieve the goals they set for themselves.
How I practice...
I offer individual therapy and psychological testing for ages 6 to 60. I use a Solution Focused, client-centered approach that is Cognitive Behavioral based, but I also use other approaches the client may need. My primary goal in therapy is to help clients enhance and develop skills that can be used in daily life settings. My expertise includes treating substance abuse concerns in adolescents and adults, grief/loss, executive functioning challenges in children, adolescents, and adults, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and adjustment concerns.
