NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS- TELEHEALTH ONLY.

INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES AND FAMILY THERAPY.

I am a cisgender male and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated in 2017 with a Master of Arts in Adlerian Psychotherapy and Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. I am currently in the process of completing my second Master of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis on Psychological Defense and Disinformation from Karlstad University, Sweden. I have worked in the mental health field since 2018. I specialize in neurodivergence, depression, and anxiety in adults. Prior to entering the field, I worked at a group home in Sweden dedicated to adults with autism and schizophrenia. I was born and raised in a small town in Sweden and moved to Minnesota for college in 2010. I come from a neurodivergent family with an immigrant background. I believe it is important to understand our family’s history and how it continues to affect us today. When I am not in the office, I enjoy playing guitar and bass, video games, hockey, and going to concerts.

How I practice...

In my sessions, I utilize Adlerian and cognitive behavioral techniques. I focus on helping individuals and their families better understand autism. I am calm, non-judgmental, and prioritize building trust before we start the deeper work. I believe in encouragement, humor, openness, and honesty. I view you as the expert on your own life. I see the world through an intersectional and systemic lens. Therefore, I recognize the importance of familial relationships, friendships, the systems we live in, and how they shape our lives. I welcome all religions, cultures, genders, sexual orientations, and I provide safe and affirming care.
