ACCEPTING CLIENTS FOR IN-PERSON AND TELEHEALTH.
PROVIDING INDIVIDUAL ADULT THERAPY ONLY.
I am a nonbinary, queer therapist diagnosed with ADHD. I specialize in neurodivergence, anxiety, and complex trauma in adults. I have been an outpatient therapist since 2023, when I completed my Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling at St. Mary's University of Minnesota. I am currently applying for my Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in various client supporting social work roles, including Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS,) Independent Living Skills support (ILS) and a Direct Support Professional (DSP.)Â I come from a small town and have lived in Minneapolis for 6 years. Â When I'm not in the office, I'm likely hiking, playing volleyball, camping, looking at cool birds, baking, practicing yoga or spending time with loved ones.
How I practice...
As a therapist, I value authenticity, safety, and connection. I prioritize building trust before any deep work/change can be done. I believe that you are the most knowledgeable about your experience and your body knows what it needs. Our job is often to learn how to listen to it without judgment. I teach a solid foundation of coping skills to help get you through everyday stressors with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT,) while sprinkling in some psychodynamic and narrative therapy to promote deeper self-awareness and reflection.
